Travis, the owner of WI PondWorks LLC, went to college at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and graduated with a fisheries and water resource biology degree. From there, he obtained a job with the Illinois Natural History Survey as a Fisheries Technician. Then, the Wisconsin DNR as a Water Resource Management Specialist. After that, he took a job in the private sector managing private ponds and small lakes. With over a decade of experience as a field technician and managing small water bodies, Travis decided to start his own pond management business when he moved to New London, WI in 2021.

With a passion for conserving the outdoors, Travis truly cares about each individual pond’s health, and how it impacts its surroundings. This shows in his work. Finding perfect balance between aesthetics and conserving a ponds function is where the art of being a pond management specialist truly begins.
